EMC STORAGE ENGINEER/ARCHITECT-SENIOR

Summary:
The Enterprise Storage Principal Engineer is defined as a position within the Enterprise Storage Group, which is responsible for managing tasks and leading projects for open systems, cloud, and mainframe for both SAN and Network attached storage. This person must be process-oriented, ensuring that standards, policies and procedures are developed, refined and properly deployed within the storage environment. The Enterprise Storage Group (ESG) is responsible for all storage technology management, capacity planning, provisioning, and reporting. In addition, ESG is responsible for assisting local data recovery and for developing and executing disaster recovery plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Taking the leading role of Storage administration, responsible for the storage technology on all platforms: ESX, Linux, Windows, AIX, and Solaris

• Leading large storage projects such as subsystem migrations and new technology implementations
• Gather and publish capacity statistics for Enterprise Storage
• Identify capacity requirements
• Work with storage vendors to obtain proper support and escalation of storage issues
• Participate in storage hardware/software evaluations
• Participate in development of Enterprise Storage standards at SANauthority
• Enforce naming conventions, standards, and storage procedures/policies
• Coordinate between infrastructure teams storage technology deployment/project scheduling
• Maintenance of the Storage environment, ensuring the timely maintenance of software, firmware, drivers, and microcode versions
• Operational storage support working directly with Server engineering, Applications Development, Computer Operations on projects and/or requests
• Participate in the problem handling, ensuring that the ESG is properly engaged to address critical problems
• Take a leading role in the planning and execution of annual Disaster Recovery exercises
• Assist in the development and review of operational and procedural documentation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of Storage management and provisioning of block and networked storage
• Knowledge of management and implementation of SAN (Cisco/Brocade preferred)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Outstanding customer service
• High level of initiative and ownership of projects
• Orientation towards setting policy and development procedures is a plus
• Must have knowledge of EMC Storage Subsystems, NAS, and Replication technologies
• Experience with a multi-tiered storage environment

PMO MANAGER

Atlanta, GA

Summary:
Responsible for the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and process.
Support the successful delivery of programs undertaken by SANauthority through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting.
Assist with advising managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and act as the first point of contact for any program management queries within SANauthority.
As a member of the Risk and Innovation Team and clearly responsible for their functional areas of expertise the incumbent is also expected to think and act in the wider context and interests of SANauthority and the SANauthority Group. For example, contribution to the development and delivery of overall strategy, marketplace and Member outcomes, innovation and cultural development.

People/Team
• Assist and advise Project Sponsors, Innovation Managers, and teams to the best use of project
management disciplines and approaches within a fast-paced, high tech environment
• Develop positive relationships with Project Sponsors, Innovation Managers, and teams to enable
the PMO to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and training
• Support Change Manager managing resource allocation, including adjustments based on
emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges
• Assist with establishing PMO stakeholder management plan and implementation of the
communication framework
• Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information and an advocate for best practices in
project management
• Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with
stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
